  4. Dragging a file to the !FileInfo icon will issue a *FileInfo
  5. command for the file, displaying full information about the
  6. file.

  8. Some of this information can be obtained by setting the display
  9. option for a desktop directory viewer window to "Full Info" (or
  10. by use of the !Ex application), but !FileInfo provides additional
  11. information.

  13. The *FileInfo command is issued by the !RunA obey file which also
  14. includes "ECHO" commands to select screen mode 0 and to select
  15. paged scrolling. This avoids the problem of viewing the output in
  16. a desktop output window which would not be wide enough to show
  17. the display in convenient form.

  19. Note that RISC OS 3 includes an 'Info' option on its filer menu
  20. which opens up a window with information about the selected file.
